DARK GAIA'S PROFILE
Dark Gaia

I develop games and I write. I have a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and journalism. I like writing speculative fiction, horror and literary fiction, sometimes all blended together. You can find elements of my writing in my games, because I consider my games to be stories just that happen to have gameplay.
I post updates on my Facebook and Twitter:

I own the RPG Maker 2000 Value Plus. Someone bought it for me in a recent sale on the Japanese Degica site. Funnily enough, they bought it for me because I like to collect RPG Maker software, but I thought since I had it laying around I might try using it for something.
I'm still not sure if I'm actually going to use the battlebacks though. I'm playing with several different styles and seeing what looks best, first. The VX Ace RTP definitely looks out of place with the DS+ monsters.

No excuse for that. It's a character set, not a tile, so the spritesheet needs to be redrawn. It's on the list of things I need to do.

The skill categories are named after the class, yes. This is because they don't really fit into a concrete category such as "Magic" or "Swordplay" and cover a variety of different disciplines.
Think of it as encompassing the abilities and expertise of a given class, rather than a specific category of skills.

Heroes of Legionwood: Age of Darkness
Not only that, but an episodic threequel!
Given that the first two Legionwood games took roughly 2 years each to develop, I made the decision to split Legionwood 3 up into separate chunks so that I could speed up the development cycle a little.
I intend to make an effort for each episode have some sense of closure in the ending instead of just ending on a cliffhanger and including a detailed recap at the start of each new episode, as there will probably be people who don't buy every episode and as such each episode would feel like a complete game on its own.

Legionwood: Tale Of The Two Swords
Hi. It looks like the installer file may have gotten corrupted somehow. Until I get a chance to re-upload it, a slightly older version of the game is available here: http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/download/additional/free-game-bundles/free-game-bundle-1
If you want to play the Deluxe Edition, you could probably retrieve the missing files from this version.

One Night 2: The Beyond
Yes, it was completely done with events. If you look at the enemy events, you'll see how -- it's actually quite simple to do.
If you liked One Night 2, I have something of a spiritual successor in development at the moment. Check out: http://rpgmaker.net/games/6493/

There are 2 things you could try:
1. Just mute your computer's sound (open the Sound Mixer by double clicking the volume icon and muting Legionwood).
2. Copy and paste the contents of the Audio/SE folder of the Deluxe Edition into the Audio/SE folder of the Humble Bundle edition, overwriting when prompted.
The second option should fix the problem, as it removes the troublesome sound file completely in favour of the fixed one, but some people have reported success with just muting their sound while in Ascog Castle.
